My journey as a physical therapist started out as an 8 year old club swimmer in Glendale, CA. By the age of 10, I was swimming 2 practices a day - up to 5 hours a day in the pool. It was then that I decided that I wanted to swim in a Division 1 NCAA program.

When I was 14, I partially tore one of my rotator cuff muscles in a race. I bounced around multiple physical therapists who prescribed me the same rotator cuff strengthening program. 6 weeks later, I was still having pain in my shoulder and had not returned to the water yet.

In a last ditch effort, my parents and I reached out to a swimming-specific physical therapist in Santa Clara who had worked with the USA National and Olympic teams.

He helped me with my shoulder and I went on to swim for UC San Diego.

It was then that I realized that it took someone who understood me and my journey to help me solve my shoulder pain. That is what I want to do for you: help you solve problems to reach your goals.
